Daily program
Day 1: SANTIAGO DE CHILE (FLIGHT) – EASTER ISLAND/ ARRIVAL
Transfer to the international airport 1.30 hours before scheduled departure to Rapa Nui, Easter Island (flight time and number to be confirmed, flight not included, see flight options down below).
Reception at the airport with garlands of flowers and transfer to your hotel.
Easter Island is a mysterious place with its archaeological sites, volcanoes, beaches of white sand, crystal waters and an exotic vegetation with a semi-tropical climate. An unforgettable trip to discover Easter Island’s mysteries.

Day 2: HANGA ROA – AHU AKIVI
After breakfast, we leave our hotel to visit the village of Hanga Roa with its market called “feria” in Spanish, its church, the graveyard and the small fishing harbour.
Then we go along the coast to reach the magnificent restored site of Tahai, visit some caves and observe petroglyphs and ruined altars (Ahu).
We finally get back to inland to reach Ahu Akivi.

Day 3: AHU AKIVI – ANAKENA
After admiring the seven explorers, we begin our trek towards the crater of Rano Aroï and the Terevaka, highest point of the island (1.663 feet) where we have a panoramic view of Rapa Nui.
Then we go down towards the uninhabited and wild North coast where we can observe numerous petroglyphs, the Make-Make’s cave and ruined altars (Ahu). We go through the crater of Hanga Oteo with magnificent views of the ocean before reaching the royal site of Anakena dominated by the Moai of the Ahu Nau-Nau. We admire there a beautiful white sand beach.

Day 4: ANAKENA – RANO RARAKU
After a tonic bath in the sea, we walk along the same coast until the precious Ovahe beach and then we discover the sites of Te Pito Kura with its giant Moai and Hekii in the “La Pérouse” bay.
We observe petroglyphs in Papa Vaka before going through the plain at the foot of the Poike volcano. We reach the magnificent statue quarry on the Rano Raraku volcano and visit the site until the end of the afternoon.

Day 5: RANO RARAKU
Today we stay at the same camp and take the opportunity to go to Poike to admire the face of Vai at Heva, the Virgins’ cave and the Moai Ahu.
On our way, we go through the Hanga Nui bay where stands the colossal Ahu de Tongariki.

Day 6: RANO RARAKU – RANO KAU
This morning, transfer between our camp and the site of Vaihu. On our way, we observe the Ahu of Tetenga and Aka Hanga, and numerous statues which were throuwn on the ground and never arrived to their destination.
Then we walk along the coast to reach the Ahu Tahiri which represents a remarkable rock assembling. From there we climb along the Rano Kau volcano’s cliffs to discover a magnificent panorama of the huge crater and the «Motu Nui, motu Iti, motu Kaokao» islets. We finally walk on the edge of the crater to reach our camp.

Day 7: RANO KAU – HANGA ROA
Today we begin our trek by observing the bottom of the crater which is covered by a mosaic of small lakes, natural reserves for flora.
Then we head southwest to visit the impressive renovated site of Orongo, where took place the cult of Bird Men 150 years ago. It was celebrated each year and aimed at designate the political leader of the island.
Later, we go down to the village and visit the cave of Ana Kai Tangata, Hanga Piko’s harbour and its Ahu before going back to the hotel.
We finish this great tour by savouring curanto, a typical meal of the island.

Day 8: EASTER ISLAND (FLIGHT) / SANTIAGO DE CHILE
Transfer to the airport 1.30 hours before scheduled departure to Santiago (flight time and number to be confirmed, flight not included, see flight options down below). Reception at Santiago airport and transfer to your hotel. Night at the hotel. Meals not included.
